My body is your party – my body is not my own, nor is it yours, but it is mine to be alienated from and your event to witness (if not to participate in). Rat Steak reworks Ciara’s ‘Body Party’ (2013), layering voice and audio in a stuttered drag. The song’s refrain (my body, your party) is cut with a text that tries and fails to reach both the body and the party.
